“Focus” on God and just “glance” at your problems is the inspiring piece of advice by which Melinda Stewart lives. Her love for Christ and joyful spirit is evident the moment you meet her. God has placed her in roles that allow Him to best use her spiritual gifts of encouragement, coordinating, and teaching. For more than 25 years, God has used her gift of speaking to stir the hearts of the people in her audience as she shares her passion for Jesus.
Melinda has served on women’s ministry teams, coordinated women’s Bible studies in the community, and taught weekly Bible classes. Recently, Melinda was asked to share some of her “God stories.” In this blog she will share these personal experiences to express God’s awesome faithfulness in her life.
Melinda works as Assistant Director and Academic Support in the School of Adult and Professional Studies at Union University. She journals and is an avid reader. She enjoys swimming, relaxing on the beach, and frequent visits to Colorado. She and her husband, Bill, have been married for 31 years, have two grown children and a son-in-law and reside in Jackson, Tennessee.
